Veejay Terry Products Limited (VTPL), was promoted by  Sri. J. Vijayakumar, Managing Director along with his family members.  The family  has varied business interests  like, Textile Machinery manufacturing, Textile Spinning Mills, Textile Plastic Components manufacturing, etc for the past 3 decades.

VTPL,  formerly V.K.L. Textiles P. Ltd, was incorporated in the year 1987 with a main object of manufacturing   Knitted Terry Towels.  On acquisition of this business, the present management  started  cotton yarn spinning mill and at present  the manufacturing of  terry towels has been discontinued.  The textile mill  is situated at Annur,  30 Kms away from Coimbatore on NH 209.
